Beach Walk

It's a pleasant 5 minute walk down palm tree lined Van Horn Avenue to the Atlantic Ocean.  As you stroll, you'll pass the restored former Fort Screven U. S. Army base theater which was state-of-the-art in  Georgia in the early 1930's. The boardwalk over the dunes transitions to a canvas path that extends to the shoreline and accommodates bicycles.  Once past the boardwalk over the dunes, be sure to stop and sit in the swing to enjoy the ocean view.
